The Cottagers may want this month to be about incomings, not outgoings, but there could be a concern over the future of midfielder Andreas Pereira. Reports have emerged that Fluminense are progressing in talks to sign the Brazilian this month, in what would be a huge blow.

Uncertainty around Pereira’s future has now led the Cottagers to look at potential replacements, and Football Insider have reported that Fulham are now eyeing a move to sign Will Hughes from Crystal Palace.

This could be a cheap option for the London side, as Hughes is out of contract at the end of this campaign, but they are not alone in their pursuit, as West Ham and Brentford are also keen on the player.

McAtee has played just 17 games for the Blues, 10 of which have come this season. However, it has been frustrating for the midfielder, as he’s only started three games in all competitions and has only played four games in the Premier League.

McAtee has enjoyed two successful loan spells at Sheffield United, where in one campaign he helped them reach the Premier League. He now finds himself struggling for regular minutes, and a move could be on the cards this month. وأوضحت أنه يتبقى عادة ما بين 15 و20 ميدالية، حيث يمكن للنادي الفائز توزيعها حسب رغبته، وعادة ما يُمنح المدربون وأعضاء الجهاز الفني، بمن فيهم مساعدوهم، بعض الميداليات المتبقية.

في حين شارك فيديريكو كييزا في 4 مباريات فقط الدوري الإنجليزي هذا الموسم، بواقع 33 دقيقة، كما شارك حارس المرمى الثالث فيتيسلاف ياروس والمهاجم الشاب جايدن دانس، المُعار الآن إلى سندرلاند، في مباراة واحدة فقط لكل منهما.

ويستطيع ليفربول منح الثلاثي المذكور ميدالية، حسب رغبته الخاصة، مما يعني أن النادي لا يزال لديه 16 ميدالية متبقية لتوزيعها كما يشاء.

وسيحصل المدرب آرني سلوت ومساعداه، سيبكي هولشوف وجوني هيتينجا، على ميداليات بشكل مؤكد، وقد يكون مدرب الأداء البدني روبن بيترز، ومدرب الأداء الفردي آرون بريجز، ومدرب حراس المرمى فابيان أوتي هم التاليون في القائمة.

Everton are now looking at an “outstanding” manager to replace Sean Dyche, and he would be keen on a move to Goodison Park, according to a report.

Following the Toffees’ 1-0 loss away at AFC Bournemouth, The Friedkin Group were believed to be reviewing Dyche’s situation at Goodison Park, with the Merseyside club now sitting just one point above the Premier League relegation zone.

The 53-year-old has admitted that the owners are correct to be assessing his future, in light of the poor results his side have suffered, saying: “We have not won enough this season, [I need to] make sure the team is operating in the right way and please everyone all of the time. That is the job, we haven’t done that enough and it comes down to me.”

Not only have results been poor, but the style of play implemented at Goodison Park isn’t exactly easy on the eye, with Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher recently giving an overview of how few goals they have scored from open play.

With speculation over Dyche’s future building, TEAMtalk report that Everton have now started to look at potential replacements, and former Chelsea boss Graham Potter is believed to be their top target.

However, the 49-year-old is now closing in on the West Ham United job, meaning the Toffees may have to consider other options, and one manager they have in mind is David Moyes.

The Friedkins are believed to be considering Moyes as a potential target, and there are signs he would take up the role if he was offered it, as he is believed to be very interested in a return to Goodison Park.

Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has been ruled out of the second Test against Sri Lanka in Galle that begins on Sunday. The PCB said in a statement that Afridi suffered a knee injury during the fourth day of the first Test that Pakistan won by four wickets.Afridi had played a key role in Sri Lanka’s first innings in the opening Test, taking 4 for 58 in 14.1 overs to bowl the hosts out for 222. But he bowled just seven overs in Sri Lanka’s second innings that lasted for 100 overs, and left the field after appearing to be in discomfort on day three. He will, however, stay back with the Pakistan contingent in Sri Lanka till the end of the Tests “where his initial rehabilitation and management will continue under the supervision of the team’s medical staff.”Afridi was initially seen hobbling in the field after a diving effort, and was spotted with an ice pack wrapped around his knee thereafter. He had also undergone an MRI scan in Galle.Afridi’s absence opens the door for one of fast bowler Haris Rauf or bowling allrounder Faheem Ashraf to make the XI for the second Test, if Pakistan opt for another seamer despite Galle providing spin-friendly conditions. Afridi’s injury also delays his bid to become the 11th Pakistan seam bowler to take 100 Test wickets. He is currently on 99 scalps in the format.Pakistan’s next commitment is a three-match ODI series in the Netherlands starting August 16, after which the Asia Cup T20 competition is scheduled to be held later that month. While the versatile forward has reached a verbal agreement on terms over a new deal, according to reliable journalist Ben Jacobs, Cunha is yet to sign on the dotted line as both the club and player discuss a release clause – which could go up or down depending on Wolves’ future Premier League status.

Arsenal are monitoring this situation very closely, and it is believed they’re in contact with Cunha’s entourage as they ponder tempting him with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

“Matheus Cunha is yet to sign his new Wolves contract despite verbally agreeing new financial terms,” wrote Jacobs on X.

“Parties still discussing a release clause, and potentially two different numbers based on Wolves staying up and/or going down. Cunha has been offered an important pay rise, and even with a new long-term deal, Wolves would be understanding of Cunha’s desire to leave for the right opportunity in future windows.

“Arsenal are currently in contact with Cunha’s camp, but talks only informal at this stage. Wolves still don’t wish to sell in January and that position will only change with a crazy offer, likely in excess of £80m. Wolves planning with Cunha for the second half of the season, but Arsenal do remain alert to the opportunity.”

Following these reports of Arsenal making some movement over signing Cunha, Sky Sports and reporter Michael Bridge have shared an update of their own.

According to Bridge and the broadcaster, Arsenal are indeed monitoring Cunha amid his Wolves contract debacle, but any move for the South American would need to be a permanent deal as they’ve used all of their allocated domestic loan spots on Raheem Sterling and Neto.

“One source has told us this evening that Arsenal are keeping an eye on the Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha,” said Bridge on Tuesday.

“That’s what we’ve been told. If you talk about a loan with maybe the obligation to buy, they’ve used both of their domestic loans up on Neto from Bournemouth and Raheem Sterling from Chelsea, so that means any move for Cunha would have to be a permanent deal unless Arsenal let one of those players return to their parent club.”

The 11-cap Brazil international has starred in five different positions this season, including attacking-midfield, centre-forward, as a second striker, right-winger, left-winger and in left-midfield, which suits Arteta down to the ground.

However, it is very debatable whether the Gunners would be willing to shell out Wolves’ reported £80 million valuation.
